What parents think about The Granary...
All four of my children attended the Granary and had such a happy time. They still have fond memories of 'Tractor School'. The staff were consistently approachable and friendly. I particularly loved how much outdoor play they accessed and the fact they could enjoy swimming lessons in the lovely warm pool on site!
My son attended nursery just before he turned 3 till 4 and half years old . We could not have wished for a better start in education for him . The granary in my eyes is absolutely outstanding . Our son never spent time in anyone else’s care but ours so I was very anxious of letting him go on his first day , even though I was anxious he sailed in full of smiles didn’t even look back because every single day he was greeted at the door with huge smiles and high spirits from every single staff member . He learnt so much within his time at the granary , absolutely loved being outdoors in the woodland around . If we ever had another child there is no doubt what nursery we would choose . The lunches were fantastic delicious home cooked meals which really encouraged our son to eat so many more healthier foods than he was . 5 star rating just isnt high enough for this incredible nursery. Make it top of your choices and you won’t be disappointed. We miss it so much now we are at big boy school. Megan 21 Sept 2022
The Granary Nursery is a simply amazing place. Both my children went there and thrived due to the amazing setting, wonderful family feeling and the most fantastic staff. The experiences The Granary provided gave them the best start I could possibly have wished for. I love that all the children sit with the staff for a home cooked lunch giving my children the chance to try new foods with their friends. This is a caring, nurturing nursery with lots of extras such as ballet and yoga where the staff go the extra mile to make the children feel settled and happy. D Sept 2021
The Granary provided the best start I could have wished for for my three children. They enjoyed the fun, creative and nurturing environment with plenty of time spent outdoors and making great friends. The Granary staff are wonderful and ensured my children had the confidence they needed for a smooth transition to primary school. Our only complaint is that they don’t cater for 5-18 year olds! My little boy has been going to The Granary Mill Nursery since last September. I loved the nursery since the first time I went there to look round. The atmosphere was lovely and all the children were really happy. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and very professional. I had visited a few nurseries and I signed him up there and then. Since he started there he has loved it and always comes out happy and smiling. They have been amazing with helping to support us with potty training and within 2 weeks he was fully potty trained. They have also been so vigilant with recognising that he needs some extra support with gross motor and fine motor skills. A support plan has been put in place and we get sent home activities to support him. I can not recommend this nursery highly enough and I am so glad I chose this nursery for my little boy.
